Award Details: Up to $5,000 total, payable as $1,000 per semester for the first two semesters, $1,000 for sophomore year, $1,000 for junior year, and $1,000 for senior year. After the initial payment, all subsequent scholarship payments are made after verification of the student meeting the award renewal requirements. These requirements include verification of enrollment and maintaining a 2.5 GPA or higher. These requirements are verified by an official transcript from the student’s school.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Nowata High School graduating senior
- 3.0 or higher GPA on the four-point scale
- Service to school will be defined as involvement in school activities, such as clubs, service organizations, school government, pep squad, etc.
- Attending university, college, junior college, trade school, or vocational school
Required Addendum:
- Personal essay of 200 words or less, addressing why you feel you deserve this award
- Copy of submitted FAFSA
- Official Nowata High School transcript
