The Nowata Community Foundation, or NCF, is pleased to announce our 5th annual G.L. Myers Jr. Golf Tournament, Dinner and Auction. This annual fundraiser celebrates the memory of G.L. Myers Jr. G.L. is credited for making Nowata a golfing community. As NCC’s Golf Pro, G.L. coached countless students to play and love the game. G.L. loved his hometown and would surely be pleased knowing his name was being used to make Nowata a better place. His positive influence still resonates today.

Since starting the G.L. Myers Jr. fundraiser in 2019, we’ve raised over $135,000, all reinvested in this community. It is through your gracious support that we can continue to rejuvenate Nowata and make a difference in our town.

Founded in 2017, the Nowata Community Foundation, exists to benefit the charitable organizations, programs, and special projects of Nowata. The group was started by community leaders who want to help Nowata succeed today and tomorrow. Our foundation is a collection of endowed and non-endowed funds and relies on your generosity to thrive.

So join us as golfers, diners, or sponsors in giving back to our hometown while enjoying fun Halloween celebrations with neighbors. It’ll be a spooky good time!

Morning Flight

7:00 a.m. – Breakfast starts
7:00 a.m. – Registration for a.m. golfers
8:00 a.m. – Tee time for a.m. golfers

Afternoon Flight

11:30 a.m. – Lunch starts
11:30 a.m. – Registration for p.m. golfers
12:15 p.m. – Tee time for p.m. golfers

Dinner Events

6:00 p.m. – Hors d’oeuvres and silent auction
7:00 p.m. – Dinner, program, and live auction
8:00 p.m. – Golf awards and auction winners
8:45 p.m. – Dancing starts

Golf Tournament

$125 per person | $625 per team

Kick off the day with our annual golf tournament. Rejuvenate Nowata while catching up with old friends and neighbors.

Registration Includes

All-Inclusive Golf

Choose an 8:00 a.m. or 12:15 p.m. tee time. Plus green fees, cart rentals, beer, water, and sodas are included. Cocktails available for purchase.

Meals on Us

Golfers get access to a community breakfast, BBQ lunch, and afternoon hors d’oeuvres. Registration also includes admission to our auction dinner.

Practice your game and have a chance to win big. All players are automatically entered for a chance to win over $29,000 in prizes!

Join us after the golfing ends for a fun-packed evening of dinner, dancing, and bidding. Golfers eat free! Non-golfers can purchase solo dinner tickets through us or at Nowata’s Country Club. Or rent a table and bring your friends!

Enjoy hors d’oeuvres and an elegant sit-down dinner of beef tenderloin catered by Painted Horse with table service by Nowata FFA.

Silent & Live Auctions

Dinner guests gain admission both our silent and live auctions. Join us for exciting bidding on one-of-a-kind items.

After-Dinner Dance

After the dinner, auctions, and awards are over we’ll end the day on the dance floor with music by a local DJ.
